  3. Great Game Timeline

    Hey everyone! Managed to create a rough linear outline of the Great Game since it started. Not everything is listed here, so please feel free to update (contact me or add your comments) as long as you believe it should be here. It’s an incomplete list, so apologies if it hasn’t gotten to where you are yet. Maybe you can help me out with your own experiences?

    This list is very irreverent, so watch out for snark and sass.

    ACT 1 (oooh, so fancy!)

    Philippines. Lexter (VexingLex) contacted by Moriarty (ThatWhichRemain, who previously tried using Andrew Scott as peg and using the name HeMustBeBP) through a different name. Moriarty convinces Lex to be part of a “theater production” with him as lead role. Lex leaves the Philippines, running from Myrrh Camden (Poison_Berries), his handler and mentor.

    Through psychological and emotional reprogramming, Moriarty slowly shapes Lex into working for him. Production actually concealed act of terrorism. Sherlock Holmes (In_Holmes) still not aware of incident.

    Poison_Berries discovers VexingLex’s disappearance, travels to UK to search for him. Search becomes more desperate as she remembers the name Lex mentioned (during a phone argument) as a false identity of Moriarty. Hints greatly at history between Myrrh and M.

    Myrrh contacts Scotland Yard, catches attention of Sherlock when she describes Lex’s stories regarding his new teacher. Working together leads them to string of dead bodies with results of torture, genetic engineering, and high levels of toxicity.

    Various small performances throughout UK help gain popularity of production, more deaths in the wake of each performance, but nobody connects them. Sherlock deduces biological weapon of massive scale, possibly aerial.

    Several weeks of search. Myrrh and Sherlock track Lex to Shakespeare festival. Moriarty books final performance of the day. Most number of people present.

    Lex spots Myrrh’s presence in crowd (meaning she will die with everyone else if weapon is triggered). He betrays M. Moriarty has anticipated this and already set timed release of aerial bio weapon.

    Through help of Scotland Yard (no Lestrade here yet), people are able to escape the gas cloud. No fatalities, but Thames is toxic for next few months (sorry, England).

    ACT 2 (ermahgeeerd errkt terr!)

    John Watson (BloggyJohnny) returns from his medical mission to discover Sherlock has new friends, Myrrh and Lex.

    John frustrated with his dates because Sherlock keeps interfering by necessity (case, experiment, general petulance about John being independent). Luckily, John finds Amanda (AmandaPA8) more resilient than previous relationships. One date has them both soaking wet as Sherlock sets a lake to explode. Amanda angry but does not break up with John.

    Sherlock conducts various experiments with help of Molly Hooper (MollyHoooper), Lex, and John. Awesome sauce.

      Sherlock meets with Kate (Chef4WhipHand) to talk about his growing feelings for Irene Adler (ItsTheWhipHand). Sherlock decides to ask others about these alien “emotions”.

    Sherlock asks advice from Lex, Myrrh, John. All want him to give “Love” a chance. Irene is happy pants to have Sherlock pay her attention. They talk a lot. Like, seriously, a LOT.

     John and Amanda become really close. She’s only girl to sort of get that John and Sherlock are “in a relationship” as well. Bromancery ignites throughout the TL, instigated by various people.

    ACT 3 (in which we feel kina sorry for Seb, Vin, and Paolo. Mostly Sebby.)

    Moriarty appears again, meeting up with Paolo Morelli (_PaoloM) and Mr. Xavier (MrXavier_) in Cavendish Hotel to discuss his plan to rid Sherlock Holmes of his “weakness”, Irene Adler. Elaborate plan to fatally wound Irene after she sleeps with Paolo, then use her as leverage to make Sherlock work for him.

     Mr. Xavier also contacted by Sherlock. Asks him and Christine De Sousa (Lady_De_Souza), with Sherlock convincing Xavier to work for him instead of M. This is really cool because Xavier is too cute to be a bad guy. Oh, and De Sousa is a time traveler.

     In alleyway, Sherlock is “attacked” by Xavier and De Sousa, making it look like he was fatally wounded. M sees this on video and erroneously suspects a “rival” attempted to take Sherlock down. Sherlock wants this to happen so he can disappear from M’s near-omniscience.

     John, Lex, Myrrh, and Irene find Sherlock seemingly near death. Irene and John emotional wrecks.

    Sherlock’s plan totally works. M meets up with Xavier in Cavendish again and does a hissy fit. Gives Xavier lots of classified military data to ensure his loyalty. Doesn’t work, cuz Mr. Xavier is on the side of angels.

    Moriarty calls for a meet at Undershaw with Vin Hampton (vinhampton), and Sebastian Moran (HisManSebastian). Gives them various tests to ensure their dedication and skill.

From now on, I'll try and keep this blog up as a Theater/Supernatural blog. I'll retell stories (both humorous and horrifying) and see how much I've learned all these years of walking the boards. Once in a while, I might even post tips on how to not screw it up when "acting".

I refuse to be a snob, however, and will try my best to research anything that needs historical accuracy. My point for this blog is more for the sheer experience and personal development, rather than imposing on others.
